Beechcroft and Chapter shortlisted for the Northern Design Awards 2026
We are delighted that two of our homes have been shortlisted for the Northern Design Awards 2026: Beechcroft, in New Build Home, and Chapter, in Residential Extension.
Beechcroft, New Build Home
A tight plot in a traditional suburban setting in Solihull gave us the chance to do something different. Beechcroft was designed around its owner, a jeweller with an exacting eye, and every decision reflects his appreciation of precision and fine detail.
Chapter, Residential Extension
Chapter brings a new garden wing to a family home in the West Midlands, its brick arches opening the house to the garden. Earlier this year its landscaping, by ISOLA Garden Design, won at the BALI National Landscape Awards 2026.
About the awards
Since 2003 the Northern Design Awards have recognised the best residential and commercial design across the North of England, from architecture and interiors to the makers behind them.
This year's winners will be revealed on Thursday 12 November in Chester, after a drinks reception at Chester Town Hall and dinner at Chester Cathedral.
Thank you to our clients, to our team in the studio and on site, and to everyone who helped bring these homes to life. We look forward to celebrating with them in Chester.
